It was our first visit to branscombe campsite we stayed in our tent for 1week 27/9/2015-4/10/2015. We found it to be one of the best sites we have stayed on,the site is kept immaculate ,as is the toilets and shower rooms. As we were camping I found the freezer very useful to freeze the cool packs ,in the utility room along with sinks to wash up your pots and pans .there is also the use of washing machine for a very small charge. The pitches are very spacious ,and the views are lovely, there is a very large area in which you can exercise your dog,and a play area for the children. Peaceful and a walkers paradise ,with good food served at the local pub a short walk away. We found The owners of branscombe campsite to be very considerate as they wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed there stay there nothing was to much trouble for them and they were friendly. Also found the light aircraft that occasionally took off to be of a great interest did not disturb us one little bit and we were camping in the ground next to the runway. We had a fabulous time and we will definitely be going back next year ,thank you Deb,Andy,Mark and team . ( a big thank you from all of us at the campsite )

We came for a late summer holiday and stayed 4 nights. Beautiful! Breathtaking! We had everything we needed on the site along with fabulous views and sightings of raptors and other wildlife. The owners are friendly and helpful. Can't rate this highly enough.

We spent most if the bank holiday weekend at the campsite, and were very happy! Shame about the almost constant rain, but not much to be done about that. Mark in the reception was VERY helpful when I raised I'd somehow made a mistake with the booking, and saved out holiday! The campsite offers fuss free camping, with basic facilities. The new toilet block is brilliant, and always clean and well maintained with the essentials! A little gem!
Nicola
Site clean, quiet and well maintained. Very good facilities. Owners couldn't do enough to please. Worth a visit. Good pub short walk away. Play area a god send when pitching with small children.

Fantastic welcome to a great campsite with lots of open space and very few cars, so the children could safely play and ride their bikes. The children loved the games room too! Facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. Debs, Andrew and the team were friendly, great fun and couldn't do enough to help. We had a fantastic time (despite the downpours) and can't wait to return to Dubbeldam corner soon.

We stayed at this wonderful little site with our ten year old grandson. It's small, but perfectly formed and loving returned to its former glory by its new owners. The facilities are spotless, the views are breath taking and if you just want to camp without knobs and whistles then this is the site for you. We thoroughly recommend and will be back!!

Stayed 5 nights on site after booking for 3, lovely campsite helpful, fun people, nothing was too much trouble, Debbie offering to collect any shopping we needed most days, saying just give me a list. The small planes were interesting to watch taking off and landing and were not at all intrusive, the site was clean and tidy, with wonderful views all round, we will be returning. If you need a taxi to get back from the pub do try Karens taxis, (cards in office) once again, lovely people a helpful and very pleasant taxi service.

Great site, very clean and everyone very helpful.Beautiful countryside views etc.,and not far to a lot of seaside towns.,if I had to say a downside it would be actually getting to the site, very narrow lanes and not very many passing places, but the site itself more than makes up for that,we enjoyed our 3 days

Spent a lovely 4 nights surrounded by countryside and beautiful weather. Debbie and Mark were so helpful with all aspects of our stay from the booking to anything we may need during it. Total bonus was there were a few planes taking off and landing at the site (small 2 man planes, there is a runway set away from the campers). Not alot of noise and fantastic to watch. My partner has been going to this camp site for a number of years and this is only my second stay. We will be back !

Absolutely fabulous place, can't wait to return. Such lovely helpful people there. Nice views, clean showers. What more could you want.

Hi Debbie, Finally got round to thanking you for an excellent stay last month. "We have stayed at this site several times but what a transformation. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the new owner Debbie and were so pleased to see the changes that have been made. The old toilet block has been refurbished and is now spotless with free showers and in addition to this there are 2 excellent wet rooms with plenty of hot water, both of which are immaculate. There is also a bespoke washing up area and all the grass had been cut. WE will definitely put this site back on our list and wish Debbie and her team every success. Thanks again and see you soon
Tony & Edwina
We have been coming here for many years, what a huge improvement. The new incumbents, Debbie and Andy have put in a lot of work, the site is so much tidier. However the big improvement has got to be the complete refurbishment of the showers, creating his and hers facilities. The big bonus is the new log cabin which comprises utility room and 2 new spacious bathrooms complete with WC, basin and shower. Well done Debbie and Andy, we had a great stay.

Very friendly owners of the camp site, who went out of their way to ensure our stay was trouble free. They even phoned us during our journey to let us know there was a hold up on the motorway! The camp site is situated in a very picturesque area and is in an ideal location to visit many of the interesting villages in Devon. Branscombe itself, being a really lovely little village, with some excellent country pubs and pretty beach, within walking distance for the more energetic camper! The facilities on the site are currently being upgraded and the new owners are so enthusiastic, that I am sure they will make a huge success of their business venture. For a peaceful, get away from it all break, Branscombe Airfield and camping is certainly somewhere I would recommend. I would love to return, later in the year, when the weather will hopefully be a bit warmer!

Disliked: I could not find anything at all to dislike about this lovely camp site!
